LESSON FLOW

  1. Start with the task, the latest drawing revision and the question being answered.
  2. Identify the available control, the expected output and the independent check.
  3. Prepare instrument, controller, file naming and a short field record before leaving the office.
  4. Close with what to report, what to retain and when to escalate uncertainty.

FIELD CHECKLIST

I can identify the latest drawing revision before I begin.

I know what control information I need and where it comes from.

I can state the required output and the independent check.

I know that unclear information is escalated, not guessed.
